eXtreme Programming with and without Agile

Presentation for next week’s meeting: “eXtreme Programming with and without Agile”

Agile software development is a set of processes and practices for
managing software development, and is aimed at managers, and encourages
disciplined approach to project management.
eXtreme Programming (aka XP) is also a set of practices and processes,
but it is designed for the engineers, engineering teams, and encourages
discipline in building software. Both XP and Agile were designed with
the same goal in mind - to build quality software for ever-changing
requirements.

Unlike Agile, many XP practices do not require organizational or
management support. Every software craftsman can (and should) improve the quality of their
work by following eXtreme Programming.

A big thanks to Improving Enterprises for sponsoring pizza for this event.
